Hallo Freunde,

Your club brings back such happy memories for me. My grandparents used to live across the street from your club at 144 Rockwell Avenue. I was born in New Britain in 1949, and moved to California in 1958, but spent every summer with my grandparents (the Scharffs) until 1970. They are both gone now, but seeing the Donau Club on Arch Street on the Internet was like seeing an old friend.

I was doing some research on Mogersdorf in Burgenland (where my grandparents families were from) and lo and behold I come across a site that links to the Donau Club! And even see some familiar faces in your gallery. I have happy memories of attending anniversary parties and such here - and I know it was a special place for my grandparents.

I would prefare you are mentioning the website of the Weltbund separately as "Weltbund der Österreicher im Ausland" and not hidden under "Austrians in Countries around the World" because it contains at lot more informations for Austrians abroad.
